Chevron, Phillips fund Plaquemines Parish’s Emergency Notification System
Over the past several years, Chevron Oronite and Phillips 66 Alliance Refinery have partnered to support Plaquemines Parish’s Emergency Notification System. Through the generous donations of these companies, Plaquemines Parish is able to provide this service to the residents and businesses at no cost to parish government.
On April 1, Parish President Kirk Lepine and Director Patrick Harvey were presented the donations totaling $8,800 from Jeremy Floyd and David Bathel of Chevron Oronite and Neil Faulkner and Tristan Babin of Phillips 66. PPG extends its thanks to the companies for their support. The ENS is just one of many projects they are involved with parish-wide.
As the beginning of the 2019 Hurricane Season approaches, PPG reminds residents and businesses that now is the time to register to receive emergency notifications from Plaquemines Parish. Once registered, recipients can customize their alerts as it pertains to weather, evacuations, boil water advisories and more.
