Plaquemines hosts Linemen Dinner

Plaquemines Parish was hit drastically by Hurricane Zeta two weeks ago, causing major power outages throughout our community. At the peak of the storm over 13,000 customers were out of power.

More than 750 Entergy employees, contractors, and linemen borrowed from other utility companies have been working to rebuild the electrical system parish-wide, which includes replacing 1,300 broken poles, more than 100-mile spans of wire, and all the related electrical components.
