Plaquemines native settles into Corinth

By Zack Steen
After just six days on the job, Plaquemines native Dane Aube has settled into his new position as principal at Corinth High School. As he talks about how welcoming his new staff has been, fifth year assistance principal Jeannie Sauls drops off a surprise: two mason jars full of pickled cucumbers. A pretty good welcoming gift for the education veteran who has quickly fallen in love with Corinth and the idea of being a lifelong Warrior. “Everyone has been exceptionally nice,” said Aube. “The outpouring of support that I have received from the staff and community is unmatched. It feels like home already.”
