Second Term

Plaquemines Sheriff Jerry Turlich and Clerk of Court Kim Turlich-Vaughan were both sworn in to begin their second terms at separate ceremonies late last month. Sheriff Turlich was sworn in by Fourth Circuit Judge Joy Cossich Lobrano June 28 at Woodland Plantation. Clerk of Court Turlich-Vaughan was sworn in by 25 Judicial District Court Judge Michael Clement at the Pointe a la Hache Courthouse June 30. Both officials’ new terms began July 1.
