Sheriff Lonnie Greco announces the arrest of a 17-year-old Belle Chasse High School 11th grader on marijuana possession and distribution charges. Trey Millian, of the 120 block of Cazenave Street in Port Sulphur, was arrested at school on Thursday, September 25 and later booked on several drug charges. On September 25, at approximately 1:50 p.m., the Plaquemines Parish Sheriff’s Office (PPSO) was contacted by Belle Chasse High School officials regarding the alleged seizure of illegal narcotics from an on-campus student. Responding deputies learned that Millian had been called to the school’s office to discuss an unrelated disciplinary procedure. At the conclusion of the meeting, Millian began acting nervous and requested to go to his locker to retrieve his book bag, which raised the suspicion of school administrators.
