COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution Begins for "Most Vulnerable" Residents

The long awaited COVID-19 vaccine is finally being distributed to certain members of the general population. Starting on January 4, the Louisiana Department of Health announced that the “first very limited doses” of the Moderna vaccine will be given to the following residents:

• Persons ages 70 years or older

• Outpatient clinic providers and clinic staff

• Urgent care clinic providers and staff
