PPSO Agent assigned to Fugitive Task Force Honored

Sheriff Gerald A. Turlich Jr. would like to recognize Agent Ryan LeJeune for his participation with U.S. Marshals Service Eastern District of Louisiana Fugitive Task Force, who were recently honored nationally by the Director of United States Marshals Service (USMS).

On August 8, 2019, Donald Washington, Director of the United States Marshals Service, honored the USMS Eastern District of Louisiana Fugitive Task Force at the 38th Director’s Honorary Awards in Washington, DC. The Director’s Honorary Awards recognize employees and citizens who perform in an exemplary manner in support of the USMS missions. The USMS Eastern District of Louisiana was awarded the distinction of having the top Regional Fugitive Task Force in the country. Members of the Fugitive Task Force gathered on August 16 at the Hale Boggs Federal Building in New Orleans to celebrate the accomplishment.
