_e information regarding the _ling of civil suits and land transactions is delayed due to the Clerk of Court’s remote access system being temporarily disabled by it’s host, COTT Systems. Due to the system being down, _e Plaquemines Gazette has not been able to publish the Plaquemines Parish Suits Filed or the Real Estate Transfers of Plaquemines Parish the last few weeks.

Obre Williams Named MVP

Pictured is 7-year-old Obre Williams, son of Jace and Lacey Williams of Port Sulphur. Obre played for the DTR Cardinals, a 5 & 6-year old team of the Plaquemines Parish Recreation Department. The DTR Cardinals were undefeated all season and won the 2022 championship. Obre had multiple tackles and made around 20 touchdowns this season. Obre’s dedication and hard work paid off and he was named MVP (most valuable player) of the game. Obre is very athletic and holds a bright future!
