Federal Indictment Secured for two Plaquemines Parish Residents on Drug and Gun Charges

Sheriff Gerald A. Turlich, Jr. announces that Plaquemines Parish residents, Felix Mackey, 30, and Whitley Demolle, 33, have been indicted by a Federal Grand Jury on February 4, 2022, on various federal charges. Mackey is facing seven charges: Conspiracy to Distribute and Possess with Intent to Distribute Controlled Substances, three counts of Distribution of Methamphetamine, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Possession with the Intent to Distribute Controlled Substances and Possession of a Firearm in Furtherance of a Drug Trafficking Crime while Demolle faces one count of Conspiracy to Distribute and Possess with Intent to Distribute Controlled Substances and one count of Distribution of Methamphetamine.
