Belle Chasse Academy is proud to announce that it is a 2021-2022 Jazz and Heritage Foundations Community Partnership Grant recipient. Belle Chasse Academy has partnered with the Jazz and Heritage Foundation in the past to support it’s Fine and Performing Arts programming both inside and out of the traditional school day.
Since 1979, the Jazz and Heritage Foundation has invested proceeds from the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival presented by Shell directly into the community with grants to fund projects that support the foundation’s mission. Over the last 10 years, over $10 million has been awarded in Community Partnership Grants.
Belle Chasse Academy will use these funds to provide new instruments for the Concert/Marching Band as well as instrument specific personal protection equipment for the band members.
