While the Louisiana Oyster Task Force strongly supports smart coastal restoration eorts, we continue to oppose the Mid-Barataria Sediment Diversion (MBSD), knowing that it will deposit excessive amounts of freshwater altering salinity levels that will disrupt oyster growth, harvests, and overall sustainability.
