In a press release published on March 25 by U.S. Senator for Louisiana John Kennedy’s office, it was announced that around $27.6 million in FEMA grants for disaster aid will be given to Louisiana. According to the Kennedy press release, about $1.9 million of that money will be given to Plaquemines Parish.
