Myrtle Kuhlmann

Body
Our little Momma’s tiny and oh, so tired, earthly body let go the morning on March 4, 2024 at the age of 80 years old. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord… 2 Corinthians 5:8. We truly believe she is now pain free and in the arms of God, the Almighty Father… but we know just after that embrace she has found her other love of her life, Our Daddy, Preston “Bassy” Kuhlmann. No doubt, Jesus spoke these words to her “Well done my good and faithful servant.' Our little Prayer Warrior Momma has left a legacy. To know her was to LOVE Her! Left to honor Myrtle’s memory are her sons Preston Lee Kuhlmann, Jr., of Lake Worth Beach, Fl., and Vane Joseph Kuhlmann of Eunice, La.; daughters Wanda Kuhlmann Popich (Ivan) of Belle Chasse, La., and Jeanne Kuhlmann Sonnier of Eunice; brothers Joey Hebert, Jr., of Bell Chasse and Dean Hebert (Cindy) of Port Sulphur. She will also be deeply missed by her beloved grandchildren, Natasha Miller (Robbie), Nickolas Popich (Rami), Ana Popich, Erin Elkins (Corey), Kaylen Sonnier, Brett Sonnier, Chelsey Kuhlmann and Jalen Kuhlmann-along with six great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Myrtle was preceded in death by her husband, Preston Lee Kuhlmann, and her parents, Joseph Benjamin and Myrtle Treadaway Hebert. She may have left this world physically, but her joyful spirit and beautiful soul will forever remain in our hearts. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Visitation on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 and March 6, 2024 at Ardoin’s Funeral Home, 1301 West Laurel Ave., Eunice, La. A Celebration of Life Service followed on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at the First Baptist Church, in Eunice. Officiants: Pastor Andrew Bates and Pastor Travis Turner. Interment: St. Paul Cemetery.
