BVES December Students of the Month

The following students were named December Student of the Month for meeting the School Wide Behavior Expectations~ Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Safe all month long, a presentation was made in their honor on December 17, 2025 in the school's gym.

Toys for Tots Brings Holiday Joy to BVES

Boothville-Venice Elementary School was filled with excitement Tuesday, December 9, 2025 as representative Sergeant Bwerevu, the Lead Coordinator for Belle Chasse and Plaquemines Toys for Tots made a special visit to spread holiday cheer.

Jojo is a 3-year-old Terrier and Pit Bull mix looking for his fur-ever home! He loves spending his days playing fetch and learning new tricks. He's very friendly and enjoy meeting new people. He's also quite loyal and love spending time with human friends.

Plaquemines Parish Native Narnice Riley Honored as People's Health Champion

Narnice Riley, a native Plaquemines Parish resident, has been honored as a 2025 People’s Health Champion for her tremendous contributions to others. Narnice was born and raised in Port Sulphur and resided there until Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
