Spay & Neuter: Helping Pets And The Plaquemines Community Thrive

Pet overpopulation continues to be a challenge across Louisiana and one of the most effective and compassionate ways to address this issue is through spaying and neutering our pets. These simple procedures help reduce the number of animals entering shelters and living on the streets.

Plaquemines Parish Sheriff's Office Holds Quarterly Award For 2024-2025

USA Map at BCES Celebrates 25 Years

26 years ago Glenda Balliviero a volunteer at the school was asked to collect license plates from all 50 states in order to make a USA map. The following year all the enrichment classes would be incorporating information of the USA in their programs.

Steam At Nunez Community College Summer Camps

The STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) Department at Nunez will offer more than 10 multi-day camps this summer for students in grades one through twelve. Camps include digital art, 3D printing, robotics, astro camp, printmaking, and culinary.
