Judith Ann Marie Hall Burton

Judith Ann Marie Hall Burton, born May 23, 1943, a native of Port Sulphur, La. and a resident of Hammond, La., passed away January 14, 2026 at the age of 82. She was a devoted Christian and loved reading her bible. She graduated from Buras High School and is an Alumni of Southeastern Louisiana University. She was an honorary Sub Mariner. Judy enjoyed writing poems, researching holistic medicine, gardening, coloring, and doing crafts. Judy is survived by her husband of 62 years, David Edward Burton; her children, Shane Burton, Nancy Brown and husband, Randal Brown, Josh Burton and wife Lorna Burton, Scott Burton and wife Missy Burton and Eric Burton; her 9 Grandchildren; Kayla Hughes, Shelby Nero and husband Shea Nero, Kyle Brown, Dr. Beth Burton, Ben Burton, Joey Brown and wife Kris Brown, Gavin Burton, Matt Burton and Megan Burton; her 9 Great Grandchildren; Nova, Vin, Parker, Alaric, Vega, Elias, Carmen, Freya and Rowan; her Sister, Janice and Husband Corby Acosta, Nephews Tony Acosta, Todd Acosta and niece Aimee Vaughn. She also leaves behind a host of extended family and an abundance of friends. Judith is preceded in death by her Father, JT Hall, her Mother, Amelia Hall, daughter, Janet Burton and daughter in law, Ruth Burton. Relatives and friends of the family were invited to attend the Visitation from the Chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, 12012 Hwy 190 West Hammond, LA. on Saturday, January 24, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Jon Vidrine officiated.
