Jennifer 'Jenny' Cheramie, 74, a native of Port Sulphur, Louisiana and resident of Thibodaux, Louisiana passed away on December 17, 2025. A visitation was held in her honor on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Thibodaux, Louisiana from 9:00 am until the Funeral Service at 11:00 am. Burial followed in the church cemetery. She is survived by her sons, Christopher Cheramie, and Andrew (Rachel) Cheramie; granddaughter, Melinie (Drew) Bergeron, and a great-granddaughter Palmer Jane on the way; brother, David (Angie) Rogers; and numerous other family members and close friends who she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband, Patterson 'Pat' Cheramie, Jr.; son, Aaron Jude Cheramie; parents, B.M. and Gloria Turlich Rogers; and sister, Rebecca McClain. Jenny was known for her generous heart and remarkable ability to love others as family. She cherished time spent with friends and family, and her circle of friends was wide and deep. She dearly loved her students, taking pride in their growth and successes, and she was a second mother to many of her son’s friends, offering guidance, comfort, and unconditional care.
