Jalen Brown Leaving Port Due To U.S. Army Deployment

At the July 24 Plaquemines Port Harbor & Terminal District (PPHTD) meeting, Executive Director Charles Tillotson announced that Director of Security and Vessels Jalen Brown will be leaving the port in the very near future. The reason for this, Tillotson explained, is that Brown is a member of the U.

The welding bay at Nunez Community College has been busy this summer.Nunez Welding Program Chair Jesús Melendez has been leading the college’s annual Welding Summer Internship. Students practice fabricating and welding from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
