Troy “Rudy” Petrovich, Sr. entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at the age of 81. Beloved and loving husband of Gail Pelas Petrovich. Son of the late Vicenza “Vinca” Farac Petrovich and Troy A. Petrovich. Loving father of Troy R. Petrovich, Jr. (Karla) and Tory J. Petrovich (Marcie). Grandfather of Cody, Cole, Brady, and Cacie Petrovich. Brother of Anthony M. Petrovich (the late Frances). Rudy is survived by nieces and nephews. He was a lifelong resident of Plaquemines Parish. Rudy enjoyed the outdoors, especially cutting his grass, playing golf, shrimping and going to the casino. The family would like to extend a sincere appreciation to all the Nurses and Staff at Ochsner Westbank and Plaquemines Parish First Responders for caring for Rudy. Family and friends attended the funeral services at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, Louisiana on Tuesday, April 8, 2025. Interment was in Nairn Cemetery, Nairn, Louisiana.
