Betty Julia Savage (Pelas) passed away surrounded by loved ones on April 4th, 2025. She was preceded in death by her children Bryan, Joel, and Sharon Savage. She is survived by Sean Savage (grandson), Deni Pelas Treigle (granddaughter), Tania Pelas Vodopija (niece), and Ronnie Pelas (nephew) and their families. She has also left behind a host of Cousins. Betty married John Savage and moved a few times in Florida before settling in Fort Myers. Later she shared time back in her hometown of Buras, Louisiana. She and her daughter Sharon eventually came to stay in Harvey Louisiana. In her time, she was always active. From sewing school costumes to hunting and fishing she was busy. Later the sport of bowling had her on the roads traveling near and far to tournaments. She was proud to have seen so many things and so many places. The family invited all who knew her to a celebration of life for Betty and Sharon at Knights of Columbus Hall in Belle Chasse, LA on Saturday, April 12, 2025.
