Charles Murphy Dufrene departed this life on Friday September 12, 2025 at his home in Westwego LA., at the age of 84. He was a devoted husband, father and friend who dedicated his life to helping others. He proudly served his country in the United States Marines and will be dearly missed by his loving family. Son of the late Murphy and Alice Romine Dufrene. Beloved husband of 20 years to Kristy Lynn Dufrene. Devoted father of Brandy Lynn Dufrene. He was the brother of Bernadine and Earl Cordwell, Ed Tassin and the late Nick Cordwell, and was the grandson of the late Leonard and Amelia Romine. Mr. Dufrene is also survived by other relatives and devoted friends all of whom he loved dearly. At Mr. Dufrene request there will be no public services.
