Lee was born in Pampa, Texas formerly Magic City, Texas. Daughter of the late Chester Hodges and late Beulah Simpson Hodges. She was one of five sisters…the late Adelle, late Odena, late Jean, and Euletta. Mother of Kirk Weldon Aycock (Sharon). Grandmother of Shane Curtis Aycock (Bonnie), Niki Claire Aycock Edwards (Christopher), and Erin Lee Aycock Braud (Chad). Great Grandmother to Chad Michael Braud, Caryss Shayne Creppel, Titan Ray Marchand, Millie Rae Marchand, Stryker Shane Aycock, and Sullie Lane Aycock. Lee moved to Boothville/Venice in the summer of 1965, then moved to Belle Chasse after Hurricane Betsy. She was a member of Eastern Star. She has been a member First Baptist Church of Belle Chasse for more than 40yrs. She played a big part in helping to raise her grandchildren. She was also a very involved great-grandmother…bringing most of them to church with her regularly. She has attended countless weddings, baby showers, births, birthday parties, and graduations as you can imagine living for almost 100 years! Lee lived a long and healthy life and will be missed by many!
