PPSO SALT Seminar to be Held April 3

Coffee With a Cop Set for April 11

Plaquemines Parish Sheriff's Office will have a 'Coffee with a Cop' event on Thursday, April 11, from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Dad's Restaurant, 32381 Highway 23, Empire. No agenda or speeches. Just a chance to ask questions, voice concerns and get to know the officers in your neighborhood.

BVES Competes in State Beta Convention

The Boothville-Venice Beta Club competed in the State Beta Elementary and Junior Conventions in February 2024 and placed in several competitions. The winners have the opportunity to compete in the National Beta Convention in Savannah, Georgia held in June 2024.

BVES Recognizes February Students of the Month

The following students were named Boothville-Venice Elementary's February Students of the Month for meeting the school-wide behavior expectations (be respectful, be responsible, and be safe) all month long, a presentation was made in their honor on February 29.

THE PELICAN PRESS: Spring Into Action at BCE

There have been multiple events and happenings at BCE during this second semester that have added fun and excitement to our days. It is fun to see how happy the staff and students get when we have these cool events. The first event to discuss is our STEM Night.
