Throughout the whole school year, there have been two common themes at Belle Chasse Middle School, love and positivity. Not just the romantic type of love, but the love from friends and the positive feelings from students, and overall just love and positivity everywhere!

Start Planning for Spring Tomatoes

It seems early, but the second week of January has proven to be the best time for starting tomatoes from seed for the spring season in my experience. I like to try to get my transplants in as early as possible, shooting for them to go in the ground on Valentine’s Day (this makes it easy to remember!

Project LEAD (Legal Enrichment And Decision-making) is a program designed to help students recognize and analyze the potential consequences of the difficult decisions students face during adolescence and beyond.

Home for the Holidays Adoption Event Ends December 31

Here at the Louisiana SPCA, we believe that every animal deserves a home during the holidays. Thankfully, our Home for the Holiday event has already begun! For the month of December, we are offering a reduced adoption fee of $25 for pets over six months old.
