Aaron, age 54, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2026. He was a resident of Ponchatoula, LA. Aaron was a parishioner of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. He was a hardworking man who always made sure his family came first. Aaron enjoyed the simple things in life, especially fishing, grilling, and just simply being outdoors. When he wasn’t working, you could usually find him in his outdoor kitchen, his favorite place to be, grilling, relaxing, and enjoying a good day. Aaron was a true family man and being with his wife and daughter was his top priority. He was a fun loving, strong, and one of a kind man that will be deeply missed. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Mandy Ricks Wise; daughter, Amber Wise; brother, Jason Wise; parents, Buster and Rose Wise; mother-in-law, Clarisse Ricks; sister-in-law, Connie Treadway; brothersin- law, Paul Ricks, Jimmy Ricks (Paula); godson, Caden Treadway (Jada); brother by choice, James Bulot (Lisa); grand-puppy, Dixie Belle; and many aunts and uncles. Aaron is preceded in death by his grandparents, Hilton and Donna Wise, John and Betty Balliviero, Dixie Balliviero; father-in-law, James P. Ricks Jr.; and brothers-in-law, Van Ricks and MJ Treadway. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home at 12012 Hwy 190 W. Hammond, LA 70401 on Friday, August 21, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 12:00 p.m.
