Jacqueline Marie Polk Bunch

It is with great sadness that the Bunch family announces the passing of Jaqueline Marie Polk Bunch (“Jackie”) on October 24, 2025. Jackie was born June 12, 1956. Jackie was married for twenty-three years to her beloved husband Hollis E. Bunch (“Brother”). She will be remembered for her vast love of horses and passion for rodeo. Twenty years ago, she was injured from a horse accident that left her life limited, but her love for animals never ceased. She is proceeded in death by her only child, Cody Briggs, and her parents Jack and Katie Sumich Polk. Jackie is survived by her husband Hollis Bunch, one grandchild Lindsay Codi Toole and Joshua Toole, and her great granddaughter Lilah Mae Toole, stepdaughter Jeanne Bunch, and step grandchildren Bella and Brody Diel. Jackie will be deeply missed, and the family wants to extend a special thank you to all of the ladies who took outstanding care of Jackie: Janice Meadors, Gwen McDaniel, Heather Chenault, Toni Bowlin and Niccoli Haynes. To honor Jackie’s wishes, there will be no public funeral services, the Bunch family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this time. Friends and loved ones are encouraged to celebrate Jackie’s life in their own way. 2 Corinthians 5:17: “Consequently, anyone united to Christ is a new creation. The old order has passed away. Behold, all has become new.”
