Sharon Ann Marshall of Lafitte, Louisiana, peacefully went to be with God on August 11, 2026, following a short and courageous battle with cancer. During her final days, Sharon was lovingly surrounded by her children and family. She passed away holding the hand of the love of her life, Kirk Weldon Aycock, with whom she shared 37 beautiful years of life and love. Sharon was a devoted and loving partner, mother, grandmother, and friend. She cherished her stepchildren, Shane Aycock (Bonnie), Niki Aycock Edwards (Christopher), and Erin Aycock Braud (Chad), and loved each of their children—Chad, Caryss, Titan, Stryker, Millie, and Sullie— as if they were her very own. Though our hearts are broken by her passing, we find comfort knowing that Sharon is now at peace in the arms of God. Her love, laughter, and beautiful spirit will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She was deeply loved, and she will be missed beyond words.
