BCA First Graders Learn About Mardi Gras Traditions

  • Belle Chasse Academy’s first-grade students learned all about Mardi Gras and its traditions, what it means to them, and why we buy and bake king cakes around Mardi Gras time. After learning about Mardi Gras, students decorated their very own king cakes with Chief Galle in the school’s outdoor kitchen.
