On August 15, a group of teenagers from Plaquemines Parish traveled to New Orleans to explore the abandoned, 45-story Plaza Tower building. While descending a flight of stairs that lacked a handrail, 17-year-old Jacque St. Ann fell to his death. A student of Belle Chasse High School, St. Ann's sudden passing has left his family, fellow classmates, and wider community shocked and mourning.
