How did I reach the halfway point in my reign as Seafood Queen already? Along with Princess Lyric Davis and Pearl Ava Rodi, we have weathered COVID-19 and Hurricane Ida! But wow... the memories we have made! I've traveled near and far across our great state, made"forever friends" and cherished every minute of it!

I am elated to announce that the Plaquemines Parish Seafood Board has set the date for the 2022 Festival! Please mark your calendar to join us April 29, 30 and May 1 at the Plaquemines Government Complex Pavilion grounds. We're sure we will fill your need for live music, family entertainment, good food and of course "Southern Hospitality!"

Since the Seafood Festival is a non-profit organization, Lyric, Ava and I decided in the beginning to make it our mission to become role models for community service. I feel we have accomplished so much. We have more to do and hope we inspire others to get involved! Currently, my Seafood family is running a "Volunteer With Us" campaign. Jump "on board" and join our "nautical" crew! We are sure to"reel" you in- "hook, line and sinker!"

Keep following us on social media for updates on the "Three Amigos" (Seafood Festival Royalty) - as we travel and commit to community involvement! We will also post reports as we count down to the best festival this side of the Mighty Mississippi River!
