Monica Wertz is a hometown girl who was one of the best school principals in Louisiana. Based on Parish loyalty and experience, she was a mentor, an encourager, and a producer of outstanding youth in our school system. Support for her students was always on display. She should have been appointed Superintendent when Denis Rousselle retired. It was her time. We have lost the most quali_ed person…
