Locations Where Plaquemines Residents can Pick up Food, Water, Ice

In response to the limited amount of resources available to residents in Plaquemines due to Hurricane Ida, the Plaquemines Parish Government, the National Guard, and other government/charitable organizations are giving out food, water, and ice at multiple locations throughout the parish.

The National Guard will be giving out water, ice, MRE’s, and tarps at the following locations until further notice:

• Multi-Purpose Center, 333 F. Edward Hebert Blvd. in Belle Chasse from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• Percy Griffin Center, 15771 Hwy. 15 in Davant from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• South Plaquemines Elementary School, 311 Civic Drive in Port Sulphur from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

PPG, with the assistance of the National Guard, will be providing supplies at the Buras Fire Station, the Port Sulphur Community Center, and the Boothville Venice Fire Station as well.
