Thoughts from the Publisher
The 2025 regular session of the Louisiana Legislature began yesterday. This being a fiscal session, there will be more focus on money matters. With voters failing to approve Constitutional Amendment No. 2, remedies will be put forward to prevent a fiscal collapse, as CA2 was designed to continue a path of reorganization that began with legislation adopted in 2024.
