An affordable housing development by the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base in Belle Chasse recently opened and is now accepting applications for residency. Known as Glen Oaks Apartments, this development has technically been in the works since 2017, but a variety of challenges over the years have caused the project to switch sites, change names, and just generally be delayed.
