Parish School System Teachers of the Year Presented with Proclamation from Gov. Landry
School board members, superintendent Shelley Ritz, and Governor Landry representative Austin Badon present teachers Hannah Smith of Belle Chasse Elementary School, Kaylee Boaz of Belle Chasse Middle School, and Christina Lauricella of Belle Chasse High School with proclamations from Governor Landry recognizing them for being named teachers of the year within the school system.
During the December 4 Plaquemines Parish School Board (PPSB) meeting, a representative of Governor Jeff Landry was in attendance to give recognition and honor to the teachers within the parish school system. Specifically, Austin Badon was there on behalf of the Louisiana Governor to present the school system’s teachers of the year with proclamations from the state government for their work.
