The Plaquemines Parish Fire Department (PPFD) would like to thank Chevron Oronite Oak Point for the in-kind contribution of more than 40 sets of personal protective equipment (PPE) at an estimated cost exceeding $150,000. The gear included fire helmets, turnout coats, turnout pants, Nomex hoods, gloves, boots, and gear bags that will be used throughout the parish by paid and volunteer…
