The Plaquemines Parish District Attorney’s Office reports that on Tuesday, February 20, at the start of the jury trials of 68-year-old Ray Riley from Sunrise, and 42-year-old Christopher J. Matte from Belle Chasse, both defendants changed their pleas to guilty.
Ray Riley pleaded guilty to second-degree battery and was sentenced to one year in the Department of Corrections.
