Turlich Sworn in as President of Louisiana Sheriff's Association
Sheri Jerry Turlich, beside wife Poppi Turlich, was sworn in as the 2025-26 President of the Louisiana Sheris' Association (LSA) on June 18.
In the evening of June 18, Plaquemines Parish Sheriff Jerry Turlich was officially sworn in as President of the Louisiana Sheriff ’s Association (LSA) at the Croatian House in Belle Chasse. Turlich’s term as president of LSA will begin on July 1, and he will serve in that position until June 30, 2026. With this swearing in ceremony having been completed, Turlich became the 80th president of LSA.
