Fostering is one of the key pillars of our shelter that aids in healing the homeless animals we care for daily.

Council Approves Millage Renewal Election for Hospital Service District

At the February 9 meeting of the Plaquemines Parish Council council, members unanimously approved a resolution that served a dual purpose: first, it called for an election to be held in Plaquemines on April 29 for a vote on a Hospital Service District (HSD) millage renewal and, second, it changed the process of how millage revenues are handed out by the sheriff’s department.
