Belle Chasse Man Convicted for Sexual Battery, Cruelty to Juvenile

On May 9, 2022, a criminal jury trial was started in Plaquemines Parish before the Honorable Judge Michael D. Clement. Assistant District Attorney Jason Napoli presented a case against defendant, Mark Magee of Belle Chasse, age 68 years, for Sexual Battery and Cruelty to a Juvenile.

Pearl River Couple Arrested in Connection to the Burglary and Arson of the Residence of Lt. Gov. Billy Nungesser

Sheriff Gerald A. Turlich, Jr. announces the arrest of Robert Kelly, 43, and Angela Goodfellow, 43, of Slidell, Louisiana in connection to the Simple Burglary of the residence of Louisiana Lieutenant Governor, Billy Nungesser. Plaquemines Parish Sheriff’s Office (PPSO) issued arrest warrants for Kelly and Goodfellow on one count of Simple Burglary and one count of Simple Arson each. Subsequently, the couple were apprehended in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
