I have been writing a children’s book about St. Joseph altars. I tried to find one to give to my grandchildren, and I haven’t found one. So I decided that I had to write it myself. I have been using the resources of the SoFAB Culinary Research Center at Nunez Community College.

Council to Consider Mosquito Department Privatization

The Plaquemines Parish Government (PPG) is set to consider privatizing the mosquito control department in the coming weeks. District 3 council member Chris Schulz stated that he introduced an ordinance to privatize the department during the April 23 meeting.

On Friday, April 17, Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry traveled down to Plaquemines Parish to visit the site of C & C Marine and Repair in Belle Chasse to celebrate the announcement of a massive investment into building tugboats to move Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG).
