The LSU AgCenter has a long history of breeding new varieties of sweet potatoes, a staple crop in many of our households. There is a 300-acre research farm owned by LSU in Chase, Louisiana that is dedicated to sweet potato trials, the only such farm in the country.

Inmate Pleads Guilty and Sentenced for Assault on Correctional Officer
