SCHOOL NEWS

The first semester has wrapped up, and now Belle Chasse Middle School is into the second half of the year. Over the past nine weeks, the school has achieved a lot. Recently, the district’s social studies department was recognized as first in the state on last year’s LEAP test scores.

Boothville-Venice Elementary 4H Club Attends Cookery Contest

On Tuesday, December 9, 2025, a few 4H members attended the Cookery contest in Port Sulphur! They all cooked delicious dishes and participated in numerous fun activities. Aleah Easley won 3rd place in the sugar category for cakes and treats with her cheesecake bars.

Sixth graders at Belle Chasse Middle School received a powerful and candid lesson in decision- making last week as local officials and community leaders visited the campus through Project LEAD, a program sponsored by the Plaquemines Parish District Attorney’s Office.
