Parish Hosts Memorial Event for Katrina's 20th Anniversary

Plaquemines Parish hosted a special Hurricane Katrina Memorial event for the storm’s 20th anniversary on August 29. One purpose of the event was to remember the devastation that the storm wrought on the parish— and how drastically it altered the parish’s development.
