Council Hears Presentation on Zoning Change Proposals

During the March 27 Plaquemines Parish Council meeting, both government officials and residents who attended the meeting heard a presentation on a series of proposals for major zoning changes being pursued by parish president Keith Hinkley’s administration.

Once again our state legislature has hoisted on voters additional amendments to the state's constitution . Since the 1974 Constitution was passed there have been 321 amendments proposed and 221 passed. This is not counting the four before voters now. There are 76,000 words in this document.
