Charlie Eugene Singley passed away June 7, 2021, at Lafayette General Hospital, at the age of 84. Charlie was born on September 25, 1936, in Glenmora, LA. He lived in Belle Chasse, Port Sulphur and Empire most of his life while working for Mecom, Aminoil and retiring with Phillips 66. His last residence was in Kaplan, LA. Charlie loved fishing the waters around Port Sulphur. He was survived by his wife Lynn; his sons Glenn of Bay St. Louis, MS, Steven (Kathy) of Dequincy, Charlie “Chuck” of Oseika, MS, and daughter Sheryl (Jerry) Brodigan of Lacombe, LA; and the children’s mother Marjorie Burmaster Singley. He had 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by son Robert, daughter Charline, three brothers and sisters.
