On Friday, October 15, 2021, God lovingly summoned Carmen Eulalie Encalade DeMolle home. She departed this life peacefully in her sleep at her home in East Pointea-la-Hache, LA. She was born on October 18, 1927, in Davant, LA, to the late Espy Paul Encalade and Palmyra Frederick Encalade. Carmen is survived by her children: Deborah Bartholomew (Michael), Sophie Sherman, Leonard DeMolle, Danny DeMolle (Regina), Sharon Tinson (Orbon Sr.), Allen DeMolle Sr. (DaVonya), Villere DeMolle III and Julie Harris. She is also survived by her brother John Encalade, her devoted sister-in-law Vergie Encalade, 16 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, several nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted friends.
