Stephanie Marie Turlich, loving partner of Patricia (Petie) Delcambre, passed away on October 16, 2021. She was predeceased by her mother and father, Vincenza Vodanovich Turlich and Hilary J. Turlich and survived by brother, Hilary J. Turlich Jr.; sister in-law, Becky Turlich; niece, Natalie (Josh) Turlich; great-niece, Riley and great-nephew, Logan; nephew, Michael (Tiffany) Turlich; great-nephews, Luke and Jake and her extended family, Alayna, Jacob, and Emery Fulgham-Clay. Born in Port Sulphur on August 6, 1951, Stephanie graduated from Cabrini High School and the University of New Orleans, and she retired in the New Orleans's Public School System. She treasured her time working in her family's restaurant, Bozo's, and was an advocate in many service organizations, including CASA and the NO/AIDS Task Force. Stephanie was a part of many ministries, praising and worshiping before the Lord and embodying God's grace to all. Throughout life, Stephanie Turlich danced to music that was self-composed, gave the shoes from her feet to every lost soul she encountered, drew birthday cards worthy of an artist's eye, and possessed a quick, dry wit that could light up a room. She had the heart and unending love of a first-grade teacher. She was a spouse, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a great-aunt, a Yaya, and a dear friend. Ever in song, her joy and love will be carried forward in the hearts of all those she touched. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
