Geraldine Burmaster Arnold entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 26, 2021, at the age of 86 peacefully at home. Beloved wife of the late Erving E. Arnold. Daughter of the late Ernest F. Burmaster Sr. and Theresa Keller Burmaster. Loving mother of Jeannine Richard Vicknair (Marvin), Carolyn Arnold, Jean Arnold, Debora Arnold Songy, Robin Arnold Rigdon, Michelle Lauer (Dan), Charles Arnold (Steffanie) and the late Donald Arnold. Geraldine is survived by 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Geraldine is preceded in death by one great-grandchild as well as her siblings, Ernest F. Burmaster Jr., Warren D. Burmaster, Gladys Steele and Shirley Carlone. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was born in Fort St. Leon (Belle Chasse) and a resident of Iuka, Mississippi. She was a member of the Daughters of the Confederacy and a longtime member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church Ladies Altar Society. She worked for Drake Concrete, Burmaster & Sons and she retired from the United States Postal Service, Metropolitan Developmental Center and at the age of 75, she retired from Burmaster Land.
