Sherwood Kenneth Rosenburrough
Sherwood Kenneth Rosenburrough joined his beloved wife, Meryl Romero Rosenburrough, in Heavenly Paradise on July 26, 2018. He was the son of the late Gertrude Ann Barrois Rosenburrough and Charles R. Rosenburrough of Venice, LA; step-son of the late Irma Buras Rosenburrough; grandson of the late Angeline Barrois and George Barrois and nephew of the late Peter Barrois of Venice. He is survived by his son Kenneth Rosenburrough, grandson Kenneth Rosenburrough Jr., and step-daughter Laurie Jo Billingsley. Also survived by his brother Charles “Chuck” R. Rosenburrough (Gloria) of Belle Chasse, and many cousins, nephews and nieces from both the Barrois and Rosenburrough families. Kenneth and Chuck were raised by their grandmother Angeline and Uncle Peter after their mother died giving birth to Kenneth. He is now reunited with his mother. Rosenburrough graduated from Buras High School in 1965, later becoming drafted in the U.S. Army, where he served his country in Vietnam. He was an avid fi sherman and hunter his entire life, and sewed the best trawling nets. He and his family lived in Venice until Hurricane Camille destroyed their home in 1969. Th ey moved to Carriere, MS, where he passed away.
